Clothing Drive

Drop off new, unisex gloves, hats, and warm socks in the bin near the office at Temple Beth El. You can also check out our Amazon wishlist and have items delivered to Temple Beth El. Can’t make it? Check out our wishlist instead.

Baked Goods and Individually Wrapped Snacks

Bake muffins, cookies, bars, brownies, and similar goods to be served during the Christmas meal and taken home. Please note if your items are gluten free or contain nuts or milk products. If you don’t have time to bake, you can drop off individually wrapped snacks as well.

Baking & Cooking for the Christmas Meal

Join us in the kitchen for two shifts –the first shift will prepare the meal and the second shift will bake muffins and/or cookies.

Put together packages with premade baked goods and warm clothing.

Serving Breakfast at Asbury

Serve the Christmas breakfast at Asbury Dining & Caring Center. We need help to set up the Dining Center, plate food, serve drinks and the meal, greet the guests, clean up, hand out the gift bags.

Team TBE will be serving lunch at the Dining Center – we do it every 5 weeks.

The Dining & Caring Center is a place where all in the Rochester community are invited to receive nutritious meals and other supportive assistance in a respectful, welcoming environment. With only one full-time paid staff member and more than 250 volunteers, we work hard to meet the needs of those who hunger both physically and emotionally. Serving more than 30,000 meals annually and assisting with job placement, health issues, and housing, guests leave with full stomachs and a sense of hope for the future.
