Welcome To Temple Beth El!
The board meeting on March 12 was focused around the progress of the task forces created in the strategic plan.
Advancing Conservative Judaism committee identified future initiatives such as educational videos and classes on rituals, adult education opportunities, a local Shabbaton, and a review of the High Holy Day services.
Communications committee presented a report on the effectiveness of current marketing strategies and concluded that the new email format is better for engagement. They suggest more congregational meetings and possibly introducing text updates as a new form of communicating with congregants.
Staffing committee worked on the listing for the Director of Congregational Learning and gave updates related to this role. They plan to continue to write job descriptions for an Assistant Executive Director and take part in a clergy search.
Welcoming and Engaging committee reviewed bylaws and suggests a reinstitution of committees that disappeared during Covid.
Volunteering is going well at Temple Beth El. All are invited to sign up for Volunteer Central to be connected with meaningful opportunities. We are so thankful for volunteers and are looking for more ways to demonstrate this.
