Welcome To Temple Beth El!

July/August 2018

Our last few months of Keshet finished on a strong note!  Our children spoiled their moms and dads during Donuts with Daddy and Mother’s Day Tea, and we had a spectacular send-off for our end of the year party!  Special thanks goes to Laura Pullem and Sara Metz for co-chairing the end of year party themed “School’s Out- an Undersea Extravaganza!” We wish our students graduating the best of luck in kindergarten

Camp is underway, and so is Watermelon Wednesday!  Our Watermelon Wednesday for the last week included a special tribute to Hazzan Leubitz, as we wish him farewell on his retirement!  We are looking forward to Biffy Borg, the fire department, Shira Presberg from Song Leader Boot Camp, and some other surprise guests coming our way!

Our camp themes include some old favorites including the ever-so-popular “Let’s Get Cooking!” and “Messy Art” as well as some new ones including “We’re Going to the Zoo”.  The Seneca Park Zoomobile will be joining us for a live animal interaction! Spaces are limited, but there is still room to register!

Our enrollment for the school year is booming!  We have enough two-year olds for two classes, and are looking forward to opening up a second room!  There will be some great improvements in store!

We are also looking forward to getting together a play group for moms and babies.  Our goal is to guide in socialization and form bonds between the children and the parents.  Weather permitting some of these will be outside!

Finally, Tot Shabbat Summer edition is on August 10 at 5:30 followed by a dairy potluck dinner.  Weather permitting we will have an outdoor service!

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions!  We have a lot of exciting programs and offerings for the youngest members of Temple Beth El.

L’Shalom,

Mandi Warner
