Welcome To Temple Beth El!

January/February 2019

It’s hard to believe we are already in the middle of our school year!  Our classes had wonderful Thanksgiving and Hanukkah celebrations, and are excited for the winter season!  We have welcomed a brand new group of Pitzels, and they are acclimating quite well! We still have a few spaces left in the class, so if you are interested or know of anyone, send them our way!

We have a lot of neat winter programs coming up for both our Keshet and Early Childhood!  In Keshet, we are looking forward to PJ’s with PJ Library on January 10. Biffy Borg will be joining us for a special mid-winter story time and whole school pajama day!!!  We are also looking forward to our annual Special Guest Night on February 7. The students and their guests will enjoy a pizza dinner and crafts together! It will be a fun night!

Tot Shabbat Tu B’Shevat is on Friday, January 18.  The children will have the opportunity to sample dates, figs, and all of the other species from Israel.  On February 2, we have our annual PJ Havdallah. This year’s theme will be Tikkun Olam. We will have various projects and stations for the children around ways that they can help our community, their family, and our Earth.  It will be a fun event that will leave your children feeling good about themselves.

Please feel free to contact me any time for questions about our programming for our youngest congregants!

L’Shalom,

Mandi Warner
