Join Temple Beth David and Temple Beth El for a trip to the historic Safe Haven Holocaust Refugee Shelter Museum in Oswego, New York on July 14 or 21.
The Safe Haven Holocaust Refugee Shelter Museum is dedicated to keeping alive the stories of the 982 refugees from World War II who were allowed into the United States as “guests” of President Franklin D. Roosevelt. These refugees were housed at Fort Ontario in Oswego, New York, from August 1944 until February 1946.
Museum admission is $8 to be paid at the door.
