Saturday morning, November 3 at 10:00 am
We will join, as we do each week, with Jews across the country and the world, to celebrate the day of rest.
In recognition of the end of this particular week we extend an invitation to you, and community members of all faiths, to join us for services as well.
We will feature our traditional Shabbat service followed, as always, by our free community Kiddush lunch. We will recognize the 11 lives lost in Pittsburgh a week ago during mourners kaddish, and include all those who are still healing from the tragedy in a misheberach (prayer for the sick).
Rabbi Leonardo Bitran will lead a post lunch discussion on the events of the past week and the process of Jewish mourning.
We hope you will join us in solidarity with the Rochester Jewish community, and Jews all across the United States, as we celebrate together.
Services begin at 10 am and conclude at 12 pm, with lunch immediately following.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out.
